Botulinum Toxin (Botox)

The most well know anti-wrinkle treatment around. Botulinum Toxin A can be used to smooth those dynamic wrinkles (ones that appear when you move) and is also used as a preventative for creating deeper-set wrinkles. It is a neuro-toxin causing a temporary paralysis of the muscle. Toxin lasts 3-4 months and takes up to 2 weeks to have it’s full effects.

Lip Filler

Synthetic hyaluronic acid in a carrier gel which is injected into the lips to alter the shape, even out asymmetry, change the contour or add volume to the lips. Lip filler lasts 6-8 months, the effects are visible immediately (in fact there is usually an increased effect initially due to swelling).

Dermal Filler

As with lip filler this is synthetic hyaluronic acid which can be used to smooth, contour, lit and hydrate. It can be used in many places to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and skin folds, restore volume to the face, in areas like the cheeks, chin and under-eyes and to restore facial fat loss which can cause signs of aging. Depending on the filler used it can last 6 months – 2 years. Discuss with your practitioner what your aims are.

Vitamin Injections

Vitamin B12 – B12 deficiency can cause fatigue, ‘brain fog’, low mood, faintness and lack of appetite. As a wellness supplement the injection can reduce these symptoms. Deficiency is common, particularly in those following a vegan or vegetarian diet. We recommend a course of 4 weekly treatments, repeated yearly if needed.

Vitamin D – Responsible for absorption of calcium and phosphate into the body, Vitamin D keeps your bones, teeth and muscles healthy. We can get Vitamin D from the sun, but in the UK this can be difficult. A one of injection can be the easy boost you need for your health and wellbeing.

Vitamin C – An antioxidant that supports the immune system, vitamin C can be difficult to absorb orally. An injection can boost your immune system, help build healthy skin and nails, improve wound healing and reduce risk of infection.
